the worst things really do happen to people who deserve it the least and i wish there could ever be a way that would make sense in my mind but i don’t imagine there will be. it just is senseless. if we can’t assign meaning or balance to this kind of thing, all we can do instead is offer our love and compassion and respect and sensitivity to the person lost and the people left behind with that much more sincerity.

This is like reopening a deep wound that was just beginning to heal. I cannot fathom the pain and devastation they are going through. There are no words to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to Louis and his family.

i know no amount of words or text posts is going to change anything but fuck fuck fuck this is just plain fucking cruel at this point and i wish nothing more than for louis’ family to heal and their pain to go away because they are all such amazing people and no family deserves to go through the things they have gone through. i cannot fathom the pain they are experiencing.
my heart goes out to louis’ family and to anyone else who has ever experienced a loss. know that there are so many people behind you who love you.

Hey. It’s okay to feel sad, even devastated. Don’t try to convince yourself not to just because you didn’t know her personally. It’s okay to mourn. Death is unnatural, and unbelievably painful.
Take a break if you need to, or read fic, or queue a ton of happy posts. Do what you need to. Remember that you are not alone; we are all part of this fandom, part of this found family.
I remember the last time this happened, and the time before that. You will get through this. I’m sending all of you love and prayers.
